Quick Holiday (or Anytime) Appetizers

Posted by , December 22nd, 2011

If you’re anything like me, you tend to leave things for the last minute.  You wait to pick up your Hanukkah dreidels until the last minute.  You buy your Christmas presents on December 24.   You promise to make appetizers for your annual family holiday party and realize you need to be there in 10 minutes.

Well, I may not be able to help you with your presents or dreidels, but I can definitely help you with those appetizers.

To be the hero of any holiday party, you just need to follow these three easy steps:

1.  Stop at your local ShopRite and head to the freezer aisle.

2.  Pick up one of four delicious flavors of the new ShopRite Woodfired Pizzas: Four Cheese, Margherita, Goat Cheese, and Individual-Sized Certified Organic Four Cheese.

3 .  Heat up the pizza according to package directions, cut into pieces, and serve!

My family celebrated the holidays with a small gathering last weekend, and I have to say this pizza was the perfect holiday appetizer for when you don’t have time to make something from scratch.  We particularly liked the goat cheese variety – I liked the tasty goat cheese, and my mom loved all the spinach.

I hope this makes your holiday at least a little less stressful and saves you some time to celebrate some more!  Happy Holidays!
