Did you know that ShopRite has already prepared fish in packages that are made fresh every day?
Recently I was able to tour my local ShopRite and was able to meet several of the department managers, including Seafood manger, who was amazing! She and the general manger and her decided to let me try some of their seafood products, one of which was the Salmon Florentine. It was out of this world good!
My husband typically won’t eat Salmon, because he feels it has too much of a fishy flavor, but he LOVED this. It is SO good and so easy to make. We decided to grill ours on a cedar plank, so this recipe is using a cedar plank.
1 package of Salmon Florentine Rolls
A dash or so of Blackened seasoning
It’s really important to let the cedar planks sit in water for about two hours before you are going to use them. After cedar planks have soaked, spray some non-stick spray on them. Add salmon filets to the plank. Sprinkle some blackened seasoning on each filet. Grill for about 20 minutes or so or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
This recipe is also easily adaptable for the oven. Again make sure that the cedar planks soak for about two-to-four hours for use in an oven. Place cedar planks on a jelly roll sheet covered with foil, so you don’t mess up your pan. Place salmon on the cedar planks and season. Bake for about 15 minutes or until Salmon flakes easily with a fork.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: As a POTLUCKTM blogger, I received the Salmon Florentine from ShopRite for free.
