ShopRite New Blog Panel

About: Lauren

Lauren Keating is a food blogger and freelance recipe developer who writes at Healthy. Delicious. Lauren aims to show people that cooking doesn’t have to be intimidating and that it’s possible to eat healthily, while still enjoying food. Although Lauren hasn’t had any formal culinary training, Lauren has been cooking for as long as she can remember. As a child, Lauren would always follow her mother around the kitchen and “help” as much as she could. Lauren’s love of cooking started when she was about 10 and her mom gave her the responsibility to plan and cook a balanced dinner once a week. At first, Lauren experienced a few failures where her mom came to the rescue, but once she master pulling off a successful meal, the excitement and pride couldn’t be matched. As part of the ShopRite blog panel, Lauren is excited to show readers how simple grocery store items can be turned into healthy, gourmet meals that families will love. Lauren and her husband reside in Albany, New York and are eagerly anticipating the opening of the ShopRite of Niskayuna.
